To become a climatologist you should be very science oriented. The more classes you have in these fields the better off you will be. A bachelor's degree in meteorology is a must. If you want to spend more time in school, look into a master's degree. A meteorology degree can be used for more than just being a climatologist. Degree's can range from $15 to $30 thousand dollars a year.
