Dress For Success- Job Interview

Do remember when your parents used to tell you to dress the way you want people to perceive you? And we always responded with "yeah, yeah". As time goes on we tend to realize that our parents actually know quite a bit more than we give credit.

Whether it is a job interview, job or just regular day, make sure you dress for success. If you are going for an interview, make sure that you look presentable. For guys please don't forget to shave. A five o'clock shadow might be good for the weekend but not when you are trying to impress a boss. If you are interviewing at a firm make sure that you wear a suit, or nice skirt. Neutral and modest dress is great. Brown, black, gray are great colors.

You do not need to have the nicest suit, skirt, shirt, tie or shoes. You need to look like a professional ready to be the best person for the job that employer has ever seen. Limit the amount of perfume and cologne that you apply in the morning. You should be seen first, not smelled.

The most important part of dressing for success is be confident and don't forget to smile. Good luck, and go get that green job.
