Energy Engineer Schooling Training
In order to get your green career as an energy engineer, you will need some schooling. There are engineering schools that focus primarily energy.
Because it is a new field there may be fewer schools offering the degree.
This leads the programs to be a little more expensive, but still worthwhile.
An energy engineering degree may set you back a total of $60-$80 thousand. Keep in mind, these usually will be student loans and you will have a long time to pay them back. The payoff is very good. This degree can open many doors beyond an engineering job. It can also open up numerous clean energy careers.
