Becoming an energy/sustainable program manager is a little more complicated that it seems, but is a rewarding career. It is an upper level management position. Therefore, you will need to have had a background in clean energy systems. It would also help to have experience in some management positions as well. A very good place to start is with a degree in alternative energy. These degrees are very new but extremely useful. A degree at a local state school is your best and least costly choice.
