Environmental Health Specialists: Ensuring a Healthy Environment for Everyone
Environmental health specialists are very special people. They are required to note all if any problems, state whether or not a place of business has complied with the terms of agreement, and issue a certificate of satisfaction, or a citation to close down. Safety is their main concern and the specialist is there to help anyone who is in need of their services. In some cases they may answer calls from the general public, and especially if there has been an epidemic break of a contagious sickness or disease.
If the environmental specialist receives a public or private complaint it is their job to investigate the matter to determine whether or not the complaint is justifiable. If there is probable cause they will look farther into the complaint. The complaint can be anything that is related to health, safety, and environmental issues. If the investigation concludes that the findings were unwarranted then the environmental health specialists will notate the case before closing it. Being part of a green job work place makes the difference between living in the earth and caring for it. This is a very demanding job that many people do not feel they can do.
