In order to achieve a career as an ethanol production manager you will need a degree. A degree in micro-biology, chemistry, or environmental science will suffice. Similar science related fields will also suffice. Good communication skills are a must. A background in ethanol is important. You may start out in a lower position and be able to advance in this growing field. A college degree will cost anywhere from $8 to $30 thousand a year. You will save a lot of money if you choose a school closer to home.
