Green jobs are a profitable industry to be involved with. These work opportunities are expected to increase as the world focuses more on green living. Developers draw up plans to give the planner an idea of what they would like to see. The planner then has to make sure all plans work for everyone. They must meet with city leaders and developers to make their recommendations. Then they must hold discussions with the public to address their concerns with project plans. The role of an Urban Planner is a huge task that is highly respected.

Urban Planning is one of the most popular jobs in the green industry. The earnings are quite the advantage and the work you take part in can be very rewarding. Urban Planners can expect to make anywhere $50,000.00 to $100,000.00 or more per year to start. They have a huge responsibility of planning a map-out of the areas they are hired to develop. They must work with the city, developers and public to decide what the best plans for the urban area would be. And the biggest task would be helping to keep the area pollution free, plentiful in water sources and overall eco-friendly in all aspects. An Urban Planner must have good thinking and problem solving skills along with an education mastering skills in economic development, urban design, public health and public policies. Their main goal is to create, enhance and make the urban areas sustainable for the environment, animals and people living there.

Urban Planning is a lucrative green job that has the possibility of making a huge difference in urban areas on the decline. Many jobs planning for environmental changes in local towns and cities will be available in the future as urban regions need to be restored to a picturesque place of healthy living.
