Green Entrepreneurs Drive the Green Movement

The green movement is centered on premises that lead people to project the creation of many new businesses and jobs. One very important aspect of any economy is small businesses, a green economy is no different. Green entrepreneurs will lead America by truly creating the jobs of the future.

There has been a lot of focus on how green jobs will play an important role as the United States exits the recession. However, these jobs are being created by entrepreneurs. There are two kinds of green entrepreneurs. The first, is the individual who takes an existing industry and sees how that business can be made green. The second, is the person who sees a green idea and creates a business from the idea. Both are important and create jobs. The latter is the example that is creating the jobs of the future. For example, electric cars have been around for a long time. However, until recently the creation of electric cars taking over the road was only a pipe dream. Along came Shai Agassi with a company called "Better Place" that can create a new car industry.

He took the existing business of cars and saw the need for electric cars. However, his company took the concept a step further. Better Place, created a system where someone can drive their electric car up to a battery changing system. In a few minutes, the car has a new battery and the person drives away. This one idea has started a wave of new innovation for the car industry.

Anyone can become a green entrepreneur. The green field is expected to be a $1.5 Trillion industry. Many fields have yet to be discovered. The best way to enter into the green economy is to find your green niche. One you find your niche, you are one step further to being a green entrepreneur.
