Cindy Sha is the Webmaster/ Content Creator for Carpet Steam Cleaners

The world is separated into two types of people, folks who like bugs and those that hate them. Unfortunately, even if you may be a bug lover, some of these critters can help to spread harmful germs and diseases. With the rise of housing and increased urbanization, the pest population has also increased. This means that there are even more opportunities in pest control as a business. However, this is certainly not a business for the squeamish, so once you're not, read on!

Some of the popular methods of pest extermination include using powerful chemicals that are designed to kill and eliminate these creatures. However, the chemicals affect more than just these pests and they are also absorbed into the environment which has many tumultuous effects. What usually happens is that these chemicals are absorbed by the earth and usually find themselves reintroduced to the water streams which are fed back into the rivers and oceans. Additionally, the chemicals are also carried in the air which causes a lot of air pollution.

This creates a gradual toxic build up which causes humans and animals to get sick, suffer from a range of illnesses and generally pollutes the environment. Using these chemicals is just another way that our environment is polluted and is also completely preventable. We can prevent this by using eco friendly methods of killing pests and eradicating bugs. This can even be made into a business which will no doubt be very profitable and easily sustainable.

Green Pest Eradication: How?

Some of the methods you can eradicate pests that are completely natural are:

* Use Solar Powered Pest Traps: These traps come in various sizes and are completely solar powered. All you have to do is charge one for a few hours in the sun and you can use it for up to 8 hours per day. So how does this trap work? It is powered by a sun charged BLB lamp that actually attracts pests which are then captured in a net. You can install these in farms or heavily infested areas to quickly trap pests for later disposal.

* Install Green Pest Shields: This is an excellent tool to use to prevent pests from entering homes or buildings. It is a device which is run on electricity and emits an electromagnetic field which actually causes pests to feel uncomfortable. As a result, they stay clear of your home and actually leave. This is an excellent method to get rid of pests without having to kill them.

* Use Glue Traps: These traps are completely green, as they use a sticky substance to trap pests when they walk on them. It is a great method to determine where pests are coming from and to block off entrances and exit points.

* Use Steam: Steam is a great method to quickly kill fleas, mites and small insects. The high heat of the steam quickly kills them without releasing any harmful chemicals into the air. This is a very effective method, however, be sure to choose a steamer that emits steam at high temperatures and volumes.

Conclusion

These are just a few techniques and products you can use to eradicate pests that are green and environmentally friendly. These methods are very easy to scale and can be easily implemented as a small business. Once your business is successful and you have more capital to utilize, you can simply scale up to industrial sized green pest control machines and also look into organic pesticides.
