Pollution Control Design

Those that design programs and solutions for pollution work closely with industries to control the emissions that goes into the air. They also work with the automobile industry to help design cars that burn less fossil fuel. Different methods are used to help control the amount of pollution that is emitted by industry.

Incentives such as subsidies for emission control, taxes on high emissions, free permits and permits that are auctioned. Direct controls, which are tools that help regulate the emissions, are usually the most successful. There are also apparatuses that actually work to remove pollutants from the air. They work as a measure of air control. Industrial emissions are usually a combination of nitrogen and oxygen with many other numerous pollutants that all work to deplete our ozone. Some designs work to convert the pollutants into a usable substance; something that has the ability to be recycled in a useable way. There is also the absorption of the pollutants into a solid substance for example charcoal.

Most of the chemical ways of cleaning the air are combustion, which requires an oxidization agent usually water. This method may work well but it is not cost effective because of the source of heat required. Many companies do not want to use this method because of the cost. So governments are always looking for a better method for scrubbing the air especially for industry. Scrubbers that have direct contact with air that disperses the pollutants. The products that currently exist however are very large and only work well on large industry not the smaller scale where the air is circulated.

When the pollutants are absorbed by gas streams they are only useful if what is absorbs is a useful agent. In most cases what is absorbed is of no value so this ends up being a very expensive project with no viable product in the end. Especially smaller companies almost never use this process. To use such an expensive method that has no value is not worth it even though it does have a positive effect on the environment.

So the industry is always looking for a much simpler way of cleaning the air of pollutants. Not only simpler but much more cost effective as well. There is a newly devised piece of equipment that meets these needs. It is made so that the liquid in the device is not absorbable but the gases are which have caused a reduction in the pollutants in the air. Contact with this designed module is sufficient enough that the concentration of pollutants is reduced.

Many new options have become available to clean our air. The automotive industry has made many changes in new vehicles to emit fewer emissions. Industry still remains the largest problem but over the years the amount of pollutants released into our air has been decreased. Everyone plays a role in cleaning our air. From large industry, to what you drive to what products are used in your home. If there continues to be changes the amount of ozone destroyed will be lessened and our earth will have a chance to heal.
