Science Teacher Jobs
Do love learning or teaching new things? If so than maybe you should think about becoming a science teacher. Science teachers are always in demand, leaving a lot of room for you. Teachers are the future of a county, literally. Children are only as smart as the ones teaching them.
The career outlook for a science teacher is good to excellent. They make on average $37-$53 thousand a year.
If you love watching children's faces light up when they seem to get a concept that you have been working on, than this may be the field for you. One of the great advantages of working in a secondary or middle school is that you get the summers off.
Science teachers are in demand. They generally make significantly more than all other teachers. While they do pay more, you will need to go through some education. Make sure that you love the subject; otherwise you will not make it through school. A science degree alongside of a teacher's degree should be enough to get your foot in the door of most schools.
National Council of Teachers and National Science Teachers Association are two associations that should be looked into if you are thinking about the science field.
Another advantage to science education is that the science field itself is changing. You are able to constantly teach the students new things all the time. If teaching younger children is not what you like to do, look into a masters or a doctorate to teach at a university.
