Urban and rural communities in America have both been badly impacted in the past by a failure to invest in their growth; green-collar jobs give some an opportunity to reclaim these areas for the benefit of the local people. From new transit money and energy audits in the inner cities to windmills and biomass in America's heartland, green jobs are a reinvestment in the communities that were hardest hit in recent decades.

It is an opportunity to that a person can feel good about. It is the ultimate gift to the environment. Tired of avoiding the "what do you do for a living question? Do something about it and get your butt into a green career and help our environment. There are so many bad things out there hurting where you live your daily life. This is your chance to better that environment and thus that life. Do the right thing and help create a clean and livable place for the next generation. Don't be selfish and only think about you you you. Let's get together and make a change on our planet. We only have a short time on Earth. Why not make sure life continues on this planet and maybe even extend the lives of many generation's after ours. Look around you and see what good you can do by having a green-collar job.
