Plus, at TSTC West Texas, we have our very own wind turbine! The TSTC West Texas turbine is the first, full-scale, 60 cycle, 2 megawatt turbine built by the DeWind Corporation. The turbine has a drive train that features a combination of a torque converter and a synchronous generator that is an industry first. Because of the multidisciplinary nature of the WISE degree, it is not necessary to declare a minor; however, an area of emphasis with 18 semester hours of coursework is required. This requirement can be fulfilled with a Master's degree. Source: Texas Tech UniversityAre we Missing Your Wind Program?Do you run a wind program that is not listed?
