Questions are the Answers
Every kid in school has heard their teachers coo the very same words or some form of "always ask questions when you need help," but how many of those yawning, bored students actually comprehended the suggestion? Sure, it sunk in, you heard it, but how many kids really listened? You will think back and notice that the answer is simple: not very many. But, chances are, if you fast forwarded the lives of those curious children, they are successful workers now.
Curiosity is simply an itch your brain has the urge to scratch. Questions pop up in your mind, and you should take the liberty and time to address them. For example, you have to ask yourself about what you are seeking to do in the green industry. Dig deep. What are your true intentions and goals? What do you want to accomplish? The most successful people in the world and in history never stopped learning. Their brains were huge sponges soaking up every bit of information they could hold onto. You should do the same. Read and educate yourself on the green industry, its purpose, etc. Then get a little more specific. Read and educate about what a green job is, what the employees are expected to do, etc. Then go even smaller and specific to you. What industries are you interested in? Is there anything that stands out especially? Read about it further or learn about it from someone else.
A success story in the making is like an epic battle between the knight and the dragon (failure). Your journey through training and hard dedication help you become craftier with the weapon (knowledge) you are armed with.

Putting Yourself Out There
Sure, job listings online are a great place to search for jobs. That's the whole purpose, right? But, you must also think that that is where all the applicants who are competing for the same jobs you want are going to look. You have got to be crafty with the weapon you have obtained. Dig even further into the specific places or areas you would like to work, and find the names of some high rated employers. Even if they do not have a listing, chances are they may give you a job anyways due to the proactive attitude you have demonstrated by contacting them directly about an opening!
