Do you love investigating? If so that maybe it's time to think about a job as a toxicologist. While this at first look may not seem like the most exciting career in the world, look again. Toxicologists are at the forefront of studying the effects of chemicals. The career outlook for a toxicologist is very good. They make on average $55-$81 thousand a year. This is important because of the results that occur to our surroundings because of these harmful chemicals. Toxicology studies the environment, toxins and the combination of the two on each other. They then devise strategies to fix the problem. This problem solving is really where the forensics will come into play.There is absolutely great pay involved as a toxicologist. This career is definitely not for everyone. You will really have to love and be good at science. Lots of schooling and studying will be involved in order to become a toxicologist. Genetic Toxicology Association is a great group of experts in the field. In order to obtain a job in the field, you will need at the very least a bachelor's. Most of the time you will need two years beyond a bachelor's of science or medical degree. Most people within the field have doctorates. Be prepared for lots of schooling if you go into this career.
