What is a Green Career?

There has been of talk in the news about green collar jobs, green careers, and green in general. With all that is being thrown around these days, what, how and why are green careers important, may still be a mystery.

"Green" has become a catch all for anything that has to do with clean energy, nature, or alternative/holistic approaches. Many times these different topics may end up taking very different opinions on what may seem monolithic green thought. Because green covers so much, how people are becoming green can take very different paths. One path may take people into the holistic field and the other may take them into installing solar panels. In the non green approach, these people may find nothing in common whatsoever. However, now these people will have one thing in common, green.

With the economy in extreme fluctuation, finding new sources of manufacturing job bases, and careers is vital. Joining the green economy can be a bit overwhelming. The first thing that people can do is to learn about their niche. Find out where in the green world they want to go.
