Green Careers Guide

Wind Development Director Schooling Training

A wind development director is one of the hardest green careers to attain. The schooling needed is two fold. Wind development directors need to be experts in engineering and in business. Most directors also need at least five years of experience within the wind field.

The best way to start your training is by getting a career in engineering. However, it would be advantageous to get a degree that specializes in wind power. This will allow you to possibly gain experience and get the relevant degree at the same time. A bachelor's degree should cost around $8 to $20 thousand per year. One you have acquired the degree than a master's in business will fit perfectly along side of the wind training. You may even be able to go to night school while you are working in the wind field. Master's degree can be fairly pricey ranging from $10 to $30 a year. The payoff is a great green job in the top of the wind field.
