Boston, MA Erin Wnorowski wnorowsk@bu.edu This program is designed to teach students the concepts and analytical tools from the natural and social sciences that are required to understand and alleviate environmental problems. The curriculum is based on a interdisciplinary, systems perspective that challenges the student to integrate theory and techniques from different disciplines. Instruction emphasizes the practical use of computer modeling in which students get hands-on experience with a variety of modeling approaches. The Center for Energy & Environmental Studies sponsors an MA degree in Energy & Environmental Analysis. Students and their advisors in the center work together in planning an individualized program of study. The program provides a professional training degree for the student with an undergraduate degree in the natural sciences, the social sciences, the humanities, or engineering.
