In this program, you will be provided with the education and skills needed to perform various modalities of massage therapy including sports, pre-natal, therapeutic, Swedish, hot stone and hydrotherapy massages.

You will review Eastern and Western massage therapy history as well as spa therapies, reflexology and kinesiology, along with various techniques.

You will explore and learn about law, ethics and professionalism, anatomy and physiology, therapeutic and orthopedic massage applications, and much more to gain a full spectrum of knowledge in this intriguing career field.

The Associate degree program builds on the diploma program by providing students with an in-depth knowledge of the upper and lower body triggerpoint structural integration and myofascial release; cranio-sacral, Reiki, polarity and energy; and sports massage. The successful student should be prepared to work as a massage therapist in areas such as sports, pre-natal, therapeutic, Swedish, hot-stone therapy and hydrotherapy.
