The Gulfsouth Youth Biodiesel Project provides high school- and college-aged youth with valuable opportunities and training that will allow them to make a positive impact on their community by coordinating with a variety of different stakeholders – ranging from restaurants to universities, truck drivers and fishermen – to create a viable biodiesel project. Participants will gain experience and skills in chemistry, entrepreneurship, leadership, business and environmental responsibility through hands-on work with the program.
