The Institute for Conservation Law Enforcement's purpose is to help conservation agencies develop broad scope law enforcement tools to meet the challenges of the global age, and to develop the workforce to employ these tools in an interdisciplinary, information rich environment.

The Institute is a partnership of James Madison University, The Ohio State University, and Northern Arizona University.

Founded in 2004, our roots are in the enforcement programs of the National Park Service. We invite other conservation professionals to join us in this pursuit of more advanced mission capacity.

The partner universities have joined to develop better management tools, applied research, and workforce training for resource protection agencies.
