Lake Region State College, in Devils Lake, ND, offers a one-year certificate and two-year AAS degree in wind energy. With a strong focus on safety, this program trains technicians to enter the growing wind energy industry to maintain and fix commercial-scale turbines. Lake Region State College also offers workforce training for wind sites through TrainND, with courses including Climb Safety & Rescue Techniques, and hydraulics training.
