NMTI enables individuals to receive the hands-on training and credentials needed to successfully enter a rewarding career in massage therapy in as little as seven months. Nurses, personal trainers and physical / occupational therapists are also welcome to join the NMTI community in order to enhance their professional skills. Our program offers full time and part time options in therapeutic massage and bodywork with flexible hours and payment plans that can be tailored to individual needs.

NMTI offers a diverse curriculum including Swedish and Sports massage, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Ethics, and Business Management. Students can study massage therapy with confidence that the environment is always clean and professional. Our faculty and staff in Philadelphia are all experienced in their fields and are knowledgeable about the community, industry, and the needs of the individual student. In addition, NMTI is accredited by The Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA), the highest nationally recognized professional rating for massage training in the United States.

Upon completion of the massage therapy program, students receive a certificate and are qualified to take the National Certification Exam in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, which is required for licensure in most states. NMTI also offers graduates job placement in chiropractic offices, orthopedic offices, family practices, spas, gyms, cruise ships, or salons.
