This program provides 650+ hours of massage therapy training designed to meet the requirements to sit for the national exam which is required for state licensure and for entry-level employment. Formal application and acceptance into the program is necessary before enrolling in any core massage courses. Acceptance is granted for the fall semester of each year.
What is Massage Therapy?
Therapeutic massage is the scientific and systematic application of manual techniques to the soft and connective tissue to maintain or improve relaxation, circulation, and producing therapeutic effects to the body systems. Massage promotes stress reduction, decreased muscle tension and relief of pain related to soft tissue dysfunction.
