The Environmental Technology Program is a two-year diploma program that incorporates classroom, lab, field, and work experience to develop student skills. Graduates of the program will possess the necessary skills to meet the growing demand for environmental practitioners in such fields as sustainable development, resource management, wildlife conservation, marine resource development, and land use planning and parks management.

Nunavut Arctic College Certificate in Environmental Technology upon successful completion of 30 credits or Nunavut Arctic College Diploma in Environmental Technology after successful completion of 60 credits.

Currently, graduates of the ET Program are working within the Government of Nunavut’s Department of Sustainable Development as Wildlife Officers, Environmental Protection Officers, Wildlife Technicians, and in many other exciting positions.
