Portland Community College (Sylvania campus), Portland, Oregon, USA, offers a Renewable Energy Systems training program as an EET (Electronic Engineering Technology)specialty option (AAS degree). Students can become EET technicians specialized in one or several renewable energy areas such as solar manufacturing, wind manufacturing and servicing, fuel cell technology, etc. Students can easily specialize in other EET areas such as biomedical engineering technology, mechatronics/automation/robotics, and wireless and data communications since all EET options share approx. 70% course work.

PCC offers a 2-year AAS degree in Renewable Energy (EET option) and a nine-months Renewable Energy Certificate.
