The Earth's environment is under stress, and the search for solutions is anything but simple: It requires an interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving and education. Our program emphasizes the diverse contributions of technology, the natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences to understanding and solving environmental problems.
The School of Environmental Studies offers interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate training that integrates the concepts of environmental toxicology and chemistry, ecosystems, human health, environmental policy and management, as well as the importance of social, cultural, and economic systems into the overarching theme of sustainability.
The MES program at Queen's University provides graduate level training in the field of Environmental Sustainability. The program meets a growing student demand for post-graduate training relevant to environmental careers in industry, government, and non-governmental organizations. It responds to a very strong market in Canada for professionals with environmentally related skills.
Bachelor of Science
This program offers a multidisciplinary view of environmental science, including core courses in science, integrative courses in science and social science, and environmental courses in the humanities.
Bachelor of Arts
