This degree program has been developed to train students in the field of energy technology. The Energy Technical Specialist Associate in Applied Science degree will convey the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in both the traditional and renewable energy fields. Students enrolled in the Energy Technical Specialist program will study a 35 credit core curriculum providing a strong base in electrical, electronic and mechanical systems. Students will select an area of specialization to complete their program of study from the following: Wind Energy, Ethanol, Biodiesel, Fossil Fuels, or Power Generation. Students will be preparing for employment in one or more of the growing energy industry sectors.
